The Kick Start Development Programme is aimed at achieving our main objectives of increasing participation, standards of play and standards of delivery in football.
The full programme consists of age specific coaching, technical and long term player development, team training, community and school programmes and coach education.
However, Kick Start Football will strive to develop a personalised programme to cater for your needs
Tots FC is the young player’s introduction to football and is aimed at 4 – 5 year olds.
All sessions are based around learning through fun and are delivered in a way to excite and challenge the players involved, whilst developing a love for the game.
Tots FC is not just a safe football skills learning environment, it is specifically designed to help the player’s to socially, physically and mentally develop.
The Skills Academy is based around developing individual technique and confidence using both feet for players over the age of 6.
During the U7 and U8 season, Kick Start Football will help to form a team and prepare them for competitive team play. Technical development will continually be a large part of the training and we will also give them an understanding of the basic principles of attacking and defending.
Throughout the Skills Academy, Kick Start Football coaches will continually work with St Andrews FC U7 and U8 managers to help their transition into football coaching as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Skills Academies are available to all ages and abilities.
